Smoothie bowls are totally my thing so I was shocked to hear when creating this recipe with Rachel Molenda that she’s never had one before! Rachel’s a drinkable smoothie pro and we quickly discovered our strengths work well together in the kitchen.
Smoothie bowls are made like a regular smoothie, other than lliquid added is limited so it’s thick enough to eat with a spoon. It then gets topped with your favourite nuts, seeds, fruit, etc.
There’s nothing I love more than uber thick smoothies – I mean its basically healthy ice cream! You can indulge without stressing about high amounts of sugar because it’s naturally sweetened with a banana, plus you get a surplus of nutrients, healthy fats and greens without even tasting it them!
