Do you eat grainless but miss eating buns & stuffing with Thanksgiving dinner?! No need to worry – I have you covered! Day to day I don’t miss eating bread, but when when it comes to big holiday dinners I don’t want to miss out on anything just because I eat grainless! I made a double batch of these buns, half were eaten with dinner and the other half were made into stuffing. The stuffing will be the next recipe I post!
This recipe is gluten free, grainless, dairy free, paleo, vegetarian, soy free and refined sugar free.
Makes: 6-8 buns
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup tapioca flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt to taste
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
in a mixing bowl combine flours, baking soda, onion powder, salt and pepper.
In another mixing bowl combine apple cider vinegar, eggs, olive oil.
Pour liquid bowl into dry bowl. Stir well into completely mixed.
Take the dough and separate it into 6-8 equal portions (depending on how big you want the buns). Roll into balls and place on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Brush on olive oil and sprinkle sesame seeds over each ball of dough.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the buns are golden. Store in the fridge in an air tight container.
