A grainless pizza for this rainy Saturday! This crust is currently my favvv – it has so much flavour, plus is fluffy, yet chewy unlike most gluten free / grainless pizza crusts.Mine is topped with fresh mozzarella, feta, basil, oregano, cherry tomatoes, red onions, mushrooms, red peppers and salami. The crust is gluten free, grainless, dairy free, paleo, vegetarian, nut free, soy free and refined sugar free!
Grainless Red Quinoa Pizza Recipe:
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 20-25 minutes
- 1 ¼ cup red quinoa
- ¾ cup tapioca starch
- 2 eggs, or flax eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 425F
Use a food processor to grind quinoa into a flour-like substance.
Add in all other ingredients to food processor. Blend well.
Form pizza with hands onto a pizza stone or well greased pizza sheet.
Bake crust for 10-12 minutes.
Remove crust from oven and top with favourite toppings.
Bake for another 10-12 minutes until the crust is crispy.
