Stuffing is my favourite part of Thanksgiving dinner, so there’s no way I’m missing out just because I eat grainless! This stuffing is made out of my grainless buns and was given a two thumbs up by my gluten eating taste testers. This recipe is Grainless, gluten free, dairy free, paleo, soy free and refined sugar free.
Yields: 6 Servings
- 6 cups Grainless Dinner Rolls , chopped into small cubes – or any stale GF/grainless bread
- 1/3 cup butter or ghee
- 1 small yellow onion, minced
- 3 celery stalks, chopped
- 15 fresh sage leaves, chopped
- 1/8 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3/4 cup water
Let Grainless Dinner Rolls sit out for 24 hours to get stale before making the stuffing.
Heat melt butter with skillet on medium heat over stove top.
Add in onion and celery. Sauté for 5-10 minutes until onions are transparent, then add in sage, thyme, salt, pepper and water.
Turn down heat to low. Mix together well, then add in bread. Coat bread well so that it is moist.
Stuff turkey, then cook turkey like you usually would.
