Looking for junk food to eat while cheering on the boys tonight? Skip the greasy deep fried bar food and make your own! These wings are loaded full of flavour, plus are free of preservatives, excess sodium and heavily processed/fried oils.
This recipe is gluten free, grainless, dairy free, paleo, nut free and refined sugar free!
Grainless Sweet & Spicy Chicken Wings
- 2 dozen chicken wings
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 tbsp low sodium gluten free soya sauce
- 2 tbsp siracha hot sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
1 tbsp sesame seed
1 green onion
Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with tinfoil and grease with oil.
Place chicken wings on baking sheet and lightly brush with oil to prevent from drying out.
Bake chicken wings for 20-25 minutes.
While the chicken is baking make the glaze – In a pot on the stovetop add in all glaze ingredients. Cook in medium heat until it begins to boil.
When the chicken wings are done, remove from oven. Dip chicken pieces in glaze and then set back on baking sheet
Place back in oven for 10-15 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.
Remove chicken from oven. Let cool on baking sheet before 5 minutes before removing.
Top with sesame seeds and green onions.
